I've been a regular customer at Godaddy, purchasing domain names. This time around I decided to try their hosting services. However it turned out to be a complete disappointment.

1. Their hosting servers are too slow! I have compared the latency with other hosting services and GoDaddy trails far behind. Having lost both time and money, I decided to jump to a different provider now.

2. Similarly their web-admin interfaces are also very slow. Each page takes ages to load and administering the site becomes a real pain.

3. Their web interface is too cluttered and too jazzy. Instead of focusing on the main tasks, GoDaddy's web site is *too* busy flashing hot supermodels and other distractions. I don't care which super-models or sports-people are endorsing your service. What matters most is a lightning fast performance, simplicity and less clutter.

They make some desperate attempts at cross-selling their products at every stage and every screen, which is annoying and intrusive.

5. I would perfer the industry standard CPanel interface, instead of their non-standard admin interface. GoDaddy's admin interface is cluttered and not as powerful.

6. Their web-mail service is also very slow. They don't offer any options for web-mail clients: Squirrel Mail, Round Cube etc.

Overall, GoDaddy is only good enough to purchase domains, but not good for a hosting service.

Thanks guys,

Your reviews means everything to me. I was just going to be another victim before I read these shocking reviews of how cheap victims they make despite all the hype and agenda they put up on their website.

Down goes GoDaddy, well I think NoDaddy is better than GoDaddy. :)

The worst hosting is Godaddy. Their hosting services are the complete opposite of their registrar services. They have very unusual restrictions in plans (like a limit of 1000 e-mails sent per day in a DEDICATED SERVER, lol). These restrictions are hidden in it's "sales technics". The support is very slow, take more than 24 hours to answer questions. No guarantee, no refundable, no respect, no shame to provice a deficient service. They win money with it's hosting services lying to customers. It's probabbly an outsourced service. Terrible. They don't make customers, they do victims.
