Hosting at godaddy is very slow and tech service is untrained, downtime is often. Godaddy does not care about it's customers, they see you as a dollar sign and not a person. They have gotten too big to care. I have had them charge my credit card without notice because I forgot to update a phone number on one of my domains, they called it an administration fee. They also allow trademark theft. If you cannot afford an attorney to take the offender to court they allow your trademark to be used by others illegally. This company has hidden charges, bad service and they operate in a gray area. I am in the process of leaving godaddy for good after 10+ years.

I just vented in one of the GoDaddy forums, so I may as well have a go at it here. The GoDaddy website is the most consistently non-intuitive website. One wants to access files and nothing is direct and easy. Everything is an in-your-face product promotion link. JUST LET ME ACCESS MY BLASTED FILES, for Pete's sake. I click on this, then on that - time passes and I still can't get to my files; it's like when you dream that you are running but not moving. I just give up after a period of time from utter frustration. The GoDaddy website is along the lines of what we used to call "schlock" in the advertising world. Too busy, too tacky, too in-your-face sales, sales, sales push. I'm seriously thinking about taking all my domains to another, more professional, streamlined, minimalistic-style webhost. It's truly chapping my hide that much.

My website was hacked twice in two weeks. The first time GoDaddy "fixed" it by deleting an important file without telling me, and then lied, claiming they didn't do it. Customer sevice just lies and obfuscates, and blames others and is a joke.
