I got following email from godaddy. Then my website was shut down! It has been more than 5 days. Many calls to Godaddy. Non of customer service agent knows what is root of problem. All my site files got lost during migration. At first, they insist everything is fine. I pointed out my sites are not up running, now they said they will restore old files. They said It will take 7 days. Never go with godday. I warn you. GoDaddy use to be a very good host for me, and i had never had any problems with them - until the last few months... GoDaddy sucks, its true. Why? The reason GoDaddy has become sucky for me is because of this [[webhosting]]: SLOW - and I mean 30s+ slow [and a ton of timeouts] for the SQL servers... Webpages [php, html, doesnt matter] takes [usually] around 1-2 seconds to load, half the time it takes 5 seconds to load JUST the lookup to start actually accessing the website. the control panel for webhosting is the WORST - doesn't work half a the time and is just plain slow, as well as no ability to backup files [[they removed the ability lately!]] overall, i give GoDaddy a 1/10 the lowest of the low.

Godaddy is the worst, I was having an issue with my email not loading. I call and spoke with the rudest agent he told me that something was wrong with my network. I assure him that my network was fine, because I had this same problem when I logged onto my account at home. He told me that there was "no" known problem at godaddy and if it was a server issue everyone at my office would be experiencing the same thing. I requested to speak with a supervisor or to have the issue escalated. He would not do so, so at that time I hung up on the agent and called back. I reached another agent there is a known issue with the server on Godaddys end and that the agent who I had talked to prior put in his notes that he informed me of that. That is the point when I became very upset because the first agent lied. Why didn't he just tell me that instead of getting into a heated argument with me and making me feel as if it was my issue. Godady is the worst. This is not the first time that I have had an agent from this company give false information. I will be making a switch very soon!
