Godaddy sucks! I bought a domain name from them. They request me to submit something like passport to verify i am not fraud (other domain providers don't need that). I payed them via Paypal. We know,if there was a credit fraud, credit card owner will apply a complaint to Paypal, and godaddy can lock or cancel the account. I sent them my payment record file. However, they said they didn't get my file. They locked my account, so I have to quit the domain name. Damned! I find they sell my registered domain name online (they don't give me money-back until now. Would they have the right to sell the domain name before they give me money-back???). I think they deliberately set the so damned rules( which is labeled as"security") to make some people quit the domain name and then to get profit from it. *** Godaddy!

They refuse to transfer my domain names. This is after 2 wks of haggling. So I pointed the domain names in the direction of my existing site. GoDaddy will not point the domian names. This is ridiculous.

Please do not use godaddy for hosting or domain name purchases. They are not customer friendly and do not seem to care.
