I accidentally forgot to renew a domain name and Godaddy bought it and are currently trying to sell it back to me for an inflated price. I found these reviews here and can see that Godaddy are scammers. They filled the domain with crap for a year and then renewed and now keep sending me emails saying that it is "up for renewal and available for auction" when I can clearly see from the WHOIS data that it is not up for renewal until June next year - lies lies lies!! It doesn't really matter as the domain name is protected by international copyright and I'm on contract to seriously powerful international publisher who always wins.... I'm actually hoping they push their luck so that my publisher can kick their arses in court - think they deserve it!
