We use Host Gator for over a dozen websites. Their service is 1st Class and their tech guys are fantastic! I can't recommend them highly enough.

I am in LOVE with HostGator. I came down to East Africa from Canada 5 years ago on a 1 week business trip (lol!) and first tried out LunarPages and afterwards StartLogic. I was not impressed. Then for a good friend of mine, I really did a LOT of research and read lots of web reviews. I kept seeing Hostgator this, Hostgator that, blah blah blah...all GOOD of course. So, I took the plunge around 2008 and I haven't looked back. They are fu*king AMAZING. Everything just works! Lots of web apps via Fantastico Deluxe or QuickInstall. A friend of mine recently got a GoDaddy Windows Hosting package as a gift from her son. I go to set up the web hosting by attaching it to a domain she bought. Had to wait like 24 friggin hours before I could get to the CRAPPY CPanel. WTF?? So I just tried to set up WordPress on the account and I had to enter yet another user name/pass (lost track of everything) and I just ain't feeling this 2 year web hosting package. Sooooooo, I'm gonna do my pal a HUGE favour and host her WordPress site on my unlimited domain hosting package. Oh, GoDaddy charges extra for this. And the dude paid $134 for a 2 year plan with 1 friggin email address. Heck, I get 999 email addresses and tons of MySQL databases (this one allows only 10...pffft!!). Goodbye GoDaddy!! FOREVER!! Oh, please change your cotton pikin CPanel. It SUCKS balls. And quit pushing new services like a drug dealer!! 10 stars for having that hot skirt Danika Patrick as your pinup endorser. :-) Oh, forgot to mention HostGator's EXCELLENT & impeccable customer service. They usually answer my email issue within 10 to 20 minutes. They are so bloody helpful that it's scary. Are people this nice in customer support? And their Linux hosting just keeps running & running...never ever have I been down like I hear from other unfortunate souls in these forums who lucked out with a hosting company from Hell. lol!
