Perhaps the best feature of HostRocket’s service is their rollover bandwidth arrangement-if you don’t use your bandwidth allotment, you get to stockpile what’s left onto your next month’s allotment. This generous allowance was unique among host sites we reviewed.

HostRocket has many common features, including unlimited email addresses and spam protection. They also support sub domains and offer Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Some of the environments that HostRocket supports include CGI Directory, PHP, Perl, Front Page Extensions, and MySQL Database.
Customer Service
Customer Service from HostRocket offers typical options for support, including email, toll-free USA telephone support and international support. They don’t offer live chat technical support, but they do offer online support ticket help and boast a 10 minute turn-around time.
Control Panel
HostRocket has a good control panel with easy navigation and a variety of options. The panel’s controls are broken down into categories and subcategories featuring easy-to-spot icons. About the only tool missing from the control panel is a website construction tool.
Summary
Overall, HostRocket is a good web hosting service. If you don’t mind a two-year commitment, this is an affordable choice for webmasters who anticipate heavy or irregular bandwidth usage on their sites. Many competitors offer more web space and bandwidth, however.

I’ve been using HostRocket for a little over a year now and the features you get for such a low price tag are amazing. You don’t ever have to worry about going over your bandwidth limit, as there really isn’t one (unless you pull in MASSIVE amounts of traffic). Couple that with very reasonable levels of storage to choose from and a control panel with more features than you will probably ever use, you won’t find a better host for the price. The reliability has been amazing as well. In the year or so that I have had my site hosted with this company, I have only experienced downtimes during the scheduled maintenance periods, which take place at obscure hours of the day so they can disrupt their customers as little as possible. They also often run specials where you can sign up for multiple years for a slightly reduced price, which I opted for when registering my account.
All in all, I really haven’t found anything that I dislike about this host.
