Horrible company!!!! They also charge the earth for their services. You are required to CALL TO CANCEL auto renew. The trick? You call and they claim you never did. I never accept auto renew even if it costs more upfront because in the long run if you make changes it costs you more and it is a hassle. I received a letter from them saying that I needed to renew and to call them right away or I would lose my online presence. This was early May 2012 for an 6/8/2012 renewal date. I was going to do research to see if I wanted to switch companies. On May 10, they charged my account an astronomical amount to renew without my authorization. I called to complain. They refunded 3 charges (4 days later than they said they would refund) but not $20 with NO EXPLANATION. I called. They said it was a service charge for them renewing my domain. I said I didn't ask you to renew. They said that I was on auto renew, which again I had never agreed to and told them to not do. The representation said it would be renewed within in 5 days. I left the country for 3 weeks, came back. Surprise! No refund. I call and the representative is blaming me for not canceling auto renew and therefore it is my fault! Do I need to say more? Another escalation request has been sent to billing.... third one.
